SportsNet LA, the official television network of the Los Angeles Dodgers, is in its fourth season broadcasting games, yet continues to face pushback from other pay-TV providers on reaching carriage agreements.

In another effort to break the blackout in Los Angeles, SportsNet LA reached an agreement with KTLA5 to simulcast 10 of the Dodgers regular season games. KTLA’s schedule called for the local network to air games throughout April and into the first week of May.

Their final broadcast was set for Sunday, which was the series finale between the Dodgers and San Diego Padres. However, the game was rained out and rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader on Sept. 2.

To account for the lost game, KTLA and SportsNet LA are expected to work on selecting a replacement game, via Bill Shaikin of the L.A. Times:

Sunday’s game had been scheduled to be the last of a 10-game KTLA package of SportsNet LA simulcasts. KTLA and SportsNet LA are expected to meet this week to agree on a replacement game.

This year’s KTLA simulcast was the third for SportsNet LA since its inception in the spring of 2014. Last year, KTLA aired the Dodgers’ final six games of the season, which coincided with Vin Scully’s Hall-of-Fame career winding to a close.

In 2014, SportsNet LA simulcasted the Dodgers’ last six regular-season games on KDOC, which is an independent TV station that can be received with an over-the-air antenna and is carried by all providers in Southern California.
