Kourtney and Justin Turner, and the Justin Turner Foundation are again partnering with AM 570 L.A. Sports Radio for their Help-A-Hero Radiothon that will benefit the Los Angeles Dream Center, where the couple regularly carries out initiatives to assist veterans.

The 12th annual Radiothon is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Suggested donations will begin at $49. To donate, call 818-524-2930, text “VETERANS” to 70-70-70, or donate online.

“The Dream Center is so excited and honored to partner up again with AM 570 Sports and iHeartMedia Los Angeles for their 12th Annual Help-A-Hero Radiothon,” Dream Center CEO Matthew Barnett said.

“Over 11,000 of our country’s heroes are living on the streets of Los Angeles without a place to call home. Many of them are struggling to re-acclimate to a civilian lifestyle and battling with emotional trauma; leaving them isolated and homeless. The Dream Center’s Transitional Housing Program for Homeless Veterans is helping our heroes find hope and stability.”

In the past 11 years the event has raised over $1.7 million. Last year — the first time AM 570 officially partnered with the Dream Center and Justin Turner Foundation for the radiothon — a record $235,000 was raised.

A donation check was presented to the Dream Center this past May by senior vice president for Sports LA iHeartMedia Don Martin, along with a $15,000 grant from the Los Angeles Dodgers that Turner then matched.

“They’re not like normal athlete families,” Martin said of the Turners. “Don’t get yourself wrong. They’re very special people. JT has been coming in to help us with our veterans telethon for five years.

“The guy has always given his time, Kourtney is there, they’re answering phones. When we had a chance to switch this to his charity, to the Dream Center, it was a no-brainer for us as a radio station. The reason being, we will do anything because of what they do for all of you.

“We will do this as long as J.T. and Kourtney want to do it with us. We’re going to do this with you at the Dream Center and them as the catalyst to make this go forward.”

Throughout the Radiothon on Tuesday, listeners will have the chance to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences including, throw out the first pitch at Dodger Stadium, ride in the famed Goodyear blimp, go behind the scenes during Fox Sports Radio’s “The Herd with Colin Cowherd,” attend Dodgers batting practice, attend a show at the iHeartRadio Theater and more.
