Evan Phillips is co-hosting MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM Tuesday for a full hour beginning at 12 p.m. PT as part of Players Week.
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Chris Bassitt (7 a.m.), San Francisco Giants pitcher Ross Stripling (10 a.m.), Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Joshua Palacios and Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Richie Palacios (1 p.m.) are set to be co-hosts for a full hour as well.
Phillips is coming off a strong 2023 season for the Los Angeles Dodgers that saw him go 2-4 with a 2.05 ERA, 3.16 FIP, 0.83 WHIP and 9.7 strikeouts per nine with 24 saves in 61.1 innings pitched (62 games).
The right-hander entered the year without a set role but eventually settled in as closer and continued pitching at a high level.

Phillips was one of the few constants in the Dodgers bullpen as he posted a 2.55 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 10.7 strikeouts per nine with 12 saves in 37 games before the All-Star break.
The former journeyman enjoyed an even better second half by putting up a 1.38 ERA and 0.81 WHIP with 12 saves over his final 25 appearances of the 2023 season.
Phillips did not post an ERA above 2.89 in any month of the 2023 season and firmly established himself as one of the best relievers in all of baseball.
Phillips originally joined the Dodgers in August 2021 when he was selected off waivers from the Rays. A former 17th-round draft pick of the Atlanta Braves, Phillips briefly pitched for the team in 2018 and also had a stint with the Baltimore Orioles from 2018-2020.

Since the start of the 2022 season, Phillips owns the second-lowest ERA among qualified relievers at 1.59 and ranks seventh with 3.4 FanGraphs WAR.
Despite his success, Phillips has been an All-Star snub in each of the past two seasons and will be looking to earn his first trip to the Midsummer Classic this year.
