Clayton Kershaw resides as the premiere pitching talent in Major League Baseball, the key piece whose health may ultimately determine the success of this historic season for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Although Kershaw takes pride in being a fierce competitor when on the mound, he also a family man who is determined to make an impact in the community. Alongside his wife, Ellen, Kershaw’s Challenge has become a philanthropic success.
The charity utilizes programs and special events to provide aid to children and families in need in the Dallas and Los Angeles areas, parts of Africa, and beyond.
Kershaw’s Challenge has yet again stepped up to the plate, providing Dodgers fans a unique opportunity to get a VIP experience. In partnership with Omaze.com, fans can make a charitable donation and receive a various number of entries (based on monetary value of donation) for the grand prize.
The winner of the raffle and a friend will be flown out to Los Angeles, have an opportunity to spend time with Kershaw, participate in batting practice at Dodger Stadium, throw out the ceremonial first pitch and sit VIP to watch the Dodgers play.
Above all else, proceeds raise will benefit the HollyRod Foundation, which focuses their efforts on Parkinson’s disease and those affected by the diagnosis of Autism.
