The Los Angeles Dodgers announced a multi-year partnership with WSS and will officially kick it off on Sunday at their Canoga Park location (8201 N. Topanga Blvd., Unit E), beginning at 11 a.m. PT.
Andre Ethier is making an appearance on behalf of the Dodgers and AM 570 L.A. Sports Radio will broadcast live from the Canonga Park WSS location. The event is open to the public on a first come, first served basis, and will include games, raffles, prizes, live music and more.
Mystery gift cards will be provided to the first 100 guests in attendance and an additional 100 winners will be selected at random to receive a Dodgers yearbook.
No purchase is necessary, however spending a minimum of $40 will grant fans access to a VIP line. All attendees must wear a face mask during the event.
Sunday also marks a re-release of the famed Nike Cortez Los Angeles. It first launched for Opening Day of the 2021 regular season, and has been back in the spotlight as some players wore custom cleats modeled after the shoe with the Dodgers Nike City Connect uniform.
Beyond Sunday’s event and the Nike release, WSS will have a presence during games at Dodger Stadium, team events and Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation programs, and partnership elements will be showcased at their retail stores.
“We’re proud to partner with WSS, which like the Dodgers, is a community-minded company that is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience,” Dodgers vice president of global partnerships Corey Norkin said in a statement.
“Their roots in Southern California and locations throughout Los Angeles make them an ideal partner to help serve our community and we look forward to a great partnership for many years to come.”
Dodgers partnerships
Since Opening Day of the 2021 season, the Dodgers have announced partnerships with California Pizza Kitchen, Dunkin’ and Therabody.
