The Los Angeles Dodgers are hosting their third Strength and Conditioning Symposium on January 20 and 21, providing fans with an opportunity to attend in-person at Dodger Stadium or virtually.

Tickets remain available for those seeking instruction from Dodgers vice president of player performance Brandon McDaniel and his staff. Dodgers strength and conditioning coaches Travis Smith and Eric Yavarone, and Dr. Greg Rose, co-founder at Titleist Performance Institute, are among those scheduled to appear as well.

“We are excited to be hosting our annual symposium,” McDaniel said. “This gives a chance for our talented staff to be able to share their knowledge and passion with other talented members of our field. This year we are excited to welcome Dr. Greg Rose to present over the weekend as well.”

The in-person event will give a deep dive into how the Dodgers use movement analysis, technology, performance and skill metrics to develop athletes from the age of 16 all the way up to how they train with their professional team for the grueling demands of a season.

There additionally will be a blend of an academic setting in the classroom, as well as a practical setting, in the Dodgers’ weight room, batting cage, bullpen and on the field.

Participants are asked dress appropriately for the practical settings, with athletic clothing preferred. Purchase of the in-person Dodger Stadium symposium also comes with access to the virtual event.
