The Los Angeles Dodgers earned a series sweep of the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field on Sunday afternoon, erasing a 6-1 deficit to win 10-7. The Dodgers scored double-digit runs in all three games, beginning with 11 on Friday and 12 on Saturday.

Sunday’s offensive explosion was led by Max Muncy, who has been one of the Dodgers’ best hitters this season after starting the year with Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Muncy hit a solo home run off Rockies starter Chad Bettis to lead off the second inning and then went deep again in the third after battling through an 11-pitch at-bat against Bettis.

The home runs were Muncy’s eighth and ninth of the season, which is tied for the team lead along with Matt Kemp and Yasmani Grandal, the latter of whom also went deep in the victory.

Grandal’s homer d provided two big insurance runs off Rockies closer Wade Davis. With the game tied going into the ninth inning, the Dodgers scored on a slow dribbler off the bat of Justin Turner to take the lead.

Grandal followed with the two-run shot that extended the Dodgers’ lead to what held as the final score. The bullpen was outstanding in relief of Alex Wood, who gave up six runs while lasting just two innings.

Erik Goeddel, Yimi Garcia, Josh Fields, Brock Stewart, Tony Cingrani and Jansen combined to give up just one unearned run over the final seven innings of the game. The Rockies bullpen, on the other hand, gave up five runs in the final 3.1 innings, which wound up being the difference.
