The Los Angeles Dodgers broke out of their mini-slump and snapped a four-game losing streak on Saturday night, getting to Chris Sale and the Boston Red Sox to cruise to an 11-2 victory at Fenway Park.

The Dodgers did not waste any time getting on the scoreboard, as A.J. Pollock hit a clutch two-out RBI single in the top of the first inning. Justin Turner then added to that lead in the third when he hit a solo home run over the Green Monster off Sale, his 11th of the season.

Turner was slumping a bit before Saturday but broke out of it in a big way with the home run and two doubles. Los Angeles got to Sale for three more runs in the fifth inning to knock him out of the game, but it wasn’t until the seventh that they broke it open.

Facing knuckleballer Steven Wright, Cody Bellinger hit a no-doubt home run to right field, his 31st of the season. Bellinger’s blast came on his 24th birthday and pulled him even with Milwaukee Brewers right fielder Christian Yelich for most home runs this season.

Pollock then followed by hitting a pitch low and away for another home run to left-center field, giving the Dodgers back-to-back solo homers. Pollock went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI in just his second game back from the injured list.

Max Muncy then got in on the home run party in the top of the ninth when he launched a pitch at his ankles over the wall in center field. Muncy now has 23 home runs on the year as he continues to prove his 2018 breakout season was not a fluke.

The Dodgers also got the job done on the mound Saturday night with Ross Stripling turning in his best outing since he was inserted back into the rotation. Stripling allowed just four hits and one run in five innings, striking out seven without issuing any walks to earn his fourth win of the season.
