Dodgers Giveaways For 2025: Clayton Kershaw Bobblehead Night Added To Schedule

When the 2025 Los Angeles Dodgers giveaways schedule was unveiled, it included 21 planned bobblehead games at Dodger Stadium, but Clayton Kershaw somewhat curiously was absent from the group.

Among the Dodgers bobbleheads scheduled for 2025 were Blake Snell, Roki Sasaki, Tommy Edman, Ice Cube, Blake Treinen, Joe Davis, Shohei Ohtani and Kobe Bryant, among others.

At one point it appeared the Dodgers removed the Davis’ bobblehead from their promotional calendar, but it wound up being rescheduled for Friday, Sept. 19.

Now Kershaw has been added to the Dodgers bobbleheads schedule for the remainder of the 2025 season, and it fittingly is going to pay tribute to reaching 3,000 career strikeouts.

Kershaw achieved the feat against the Chicago White Sox, when his slider got Vinny Capra looking to end the sixth inning. The strikeout was Kershaw’s third of the night and came on his 100th pitch in the game.

Kershaw became the 20th pitcher in MLB history with 3,000 strikeouts, just the fourth left-hander to achieve the feat and the first Dodgers pitcher.

The accomplishment was celebrated on the field, with fans treating Kershaw to a standing ovation that lasted nearly six minutes. The team also played a tribute video and Kershaw emerged from the dugout for a final curtain call before play resumed.

When is Clayton Kershaw bobblehead night?

The Kershaw bobblehead giveaway at Dodger Stadium is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20, when the Dodgers host the San Francisco Giants. The first 40,000 ticketed fans in attendance will receive one, while supplies last at their point of entry.

Kershaw’s bobblehead is part of three in a row on the Dodgers’ schedule. The stretch begins with Tyler Glasnow bobblehead night (Sept. 18) and includes a version for Davis the following day.

The Kershaw bobblehead is the last giveaway item planned on the Dodgers’ promotional schedule for the 2025 season.
