MLB Players Weekend made its return last season following a four-year hiatus that started after the 2019 campaign.
MLB Players Weekend 2025 is from from Aug. 15-17, and concludes with a matchup between the New York Mets and Seattle Mariners at the Little League Classic in Williamsport.
The three-day event again gives players an opportunity to show their creativity and personality with the goal of growing the game.

The weekend event allows each player to share their hobbies and creative pursuits that they enjoy beyond baseball, showcase the charitable and community initiatives they care about most, and recognize those who’ve played meaningful roles in their journey to the Majors.
Players will be able to exercise their right to self-expression during the weekend through the use of special equipment, including personalized bats and cleats.

This is where a lot of their creative energy came through. Mookie Betts is among the Los Angeles Dodgers taking part, and he leaned into some artistic touches with his bat designs, while Teoscar Hernández displayed a passion for music and well as his home country.
Blake Snell gave his cleats some reptilian flair as a nod to his nickname “Snellzilla.” Snell figures to wear the green cleats in his start against the San Diego Padres on Saturday.
