Dodgers Dress-Up Day 2023: Dave Roberts As Coach Prime, James Outman Picks Jon Snow, Kiké Hernández As Ken From “Barbie” & More

The annual Los Angeles Dodgers dress-up day was held Thursday for the team’s flight from Colorado to San Francisco, with manager Dave Roberts creating the most buzz.

Roberts dressed up as Coach Prime, also more officially known as University of Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders. Other highlights included James Outman as Jon Snow from “Game of Thrones” and Kiké Hernández as Ken from “Barbie.”

Mookie Betts’ costume was of Tony the Tiger, and Austin Barnes went as a taco.

Some players also chose to dress up as a group with teammates, including Max Muncy, Chris Taylor, David Peralta, Will Smith and Miguel Rojas as arm-waiving tube men in an ode to the Freddie Freeman dance celebration.

Bobby Miller partnered with AM 570 L.A. Sports reporter David Vassegh as Maverick and Rooster from the famed “Top Gun” movie.

Evan Phillips and Ryan Yarbrough partnered together as Woody and Buzz Lightyear from “Toy Story,” Clayton Kershaw and Daniel Hudson were a pair of lifeguards, and the entire coaching staff dressed up as Colorado football’s coaching staff to join Roberts.

However, pitching coach Mark Prior was the lone member of the staff to not join Roberts with Colorado, instead dressing at USC head coach Lincoln Riley.

Dodgers dress-up day provided comedic relief after a 14-4 loss to the Colorado Rockies. The result didn’t have any bearing on the Dodgers as they have nothing left to play for in the season with the No. 2 seed and National League West both locked up.

Dodgers facing Giants in final three games

The Dodgers close out their season against the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park with a three-game series. Following the conclusion of the season, the Dodgers have five days off until their first NL Division Series game on October 7 at Dodger Stadium.

The club is expected to host an intrasquad game at Dodger Stadium during the time off to stay ready for the start of the NLDS.
