The 2025 Topps Five Star Baseball set is returning with an impressive lineup that includes rookies, veterans and autographed legends cards.
Among the new offerings is a “Welcome to the Club” theme that pairs Los Angeles Dodgers icon Clayton Kershaw with fellow members of the 3,000-strikeout club.
Bob Gibson, Walter Johnson, Phil Niekro, Gaylord Perry, Tom Seaver and Don Sutton also have autographed cards that baseball memorabilia collectors will be able to get their hands on.
Kershaw reached 3,000 career strikeouts in a start against the Chicago White Sox on July 2. Kershaw became the 20th pitcher in MLB history and just the fourth left-hander to accomplish the feat.
“It was a special moment,” Kershaw said after the achievement. “It really was. Just super thankful for tonight, super thankful for my teammates. I told my teammates individual awards are great, but if you don’t have anybody to celebrate with, it doesn’t matter.
“So to have that room full of guys — coaches, strength staff, training staff, front office, everybody — just really be happy for me, is awesome. They were in it with me, and it was an amazing night. A lot of gratefulness on this end, for sure.”
Kershaw posted an 11-2 record with a 3.36 ERA, 3.55 FIP and 1.22 WHIP across 23 games (22 starts) in his final season as a player.
The 37-year-old ended his illustrious career with a third World Series championship after the Dodgers eliminated the Toronto Blue Jays in seven games.
2025 Topps Five Star Baseball set details
Each 2025 Topps Five Star Baseball box delivers a base card numbered to 50 or less and five on-card autographs, with every autograph in the product numbered to 199 or below. Cases deliver even more to chase, including one auto relic, one acetate autograph, and one color ink autograph.
The base set debuts a new look for 2025, showcasing standout talent across low-numbered color, including Orange to 25, Emerald to 15, Black to 10, Red to 5, and Foilfractor 1-of-1.
Autograph relics expand the premium feel of the product with Quintuple Relic Autographs, Jumbo Prime cards, and new Dual Autograph Patch cards. Award Winner Autograph Relics highlight MVP, Cy Young, and Rookie of the Year honorees with game-used pieces, while Rookie Cap cards feature unique 1-of-1 MLB Logo Man and side-logo patches from celebrated in-season hats.
Pre-orders for the 2025 Topps Five Star Baseball set begin on Dec. 29 at 9 a.m. PT on EQL.
