The Baltimore Orioles (46-97) may not finish as the worst team in baseball this season, but they will be hosting one of the best starting on Tuesday when the Los Angeles Dodgers (93-52) visit for the first of three games in a lopsided Interleague series.
The Orioles are riding a four-game skid and find themselves as +270 home underdogs (bet $100 to win $270) on the MLB odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com for the series opener while the Dodgers are massive -320 road favorites (bet $320 to win $100) at sports betting sites.

Baltimore has also dropped eight of nine games since winning four of five for one of the team’s best stretches all year. The Orioles visit the Detroit Tigers for four games after this series before playing the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners for nine more, so there is a good chance they will not finish with the lowest number of wins in 2019.
However, Los Angeles presents a very difficult challenge, especially the way the pitching matchups line up, beginning with Walker Buehler (12-3, 3.28 ERA).
Buehler was roughed up in his last outing against the Colorado Rockies on September 2 but still walked away with a victory in a 16-9 rout despite surrendering six runs and eight hits in five innings. Fortunately for him, the Dodgers scored 10 in the first four innings and cruised from there, which is something that could happen again here.
Baltimore will counter with southpaw Ty Blach (1-2, 10.95 ERA), and he got rocked versus Los Angeles when he played for the San Francisco Giants earlier this season. Blach gave up seven runs and seven hits in 3.1 innings of relief in a 10-3 loss back on April 30. The winning pitcher in that game just so happened to be Buehler as he improved to 3-0 at the time. Since then, Blach has pitched four times and failed to go six innings.
Ross Stripling (4-4, 3.42 ERA) and Rich Hill (4-1, 2.55 ERA) follow Buehler on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, with the Dodgers giving some of their top starters extended rest down the final stretch. The only bad news for them in this spot is that they have gone 14-16 in their last 30 interleague games, according to the OddsShark MLB Database. That includes losing four of five to the Boston Red Sox in the 2018 World Series.
