The Los Angeles Dodgers begin an eight-game road trip against the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park on Friday, which will be available to a national audience. Apple TV+ is streaming the series opener as part of their weekly “Friday Night Baseball” programming.

It represents the third time this season that the Dodgers are being featured on the streaming service. L.A. previously defeated the St. Louis Cardinals (March 29) and New York Yankees (June 7).

The Dodgers’ game against the Yankees was also carried by SportsNet LA, but their matchup with the Astros is going to be an Apple TV+ exclusive.

Dodgers analyst Dontrelle Willis is joining play-by-play man Wayne Randazzo in the booth, with Heidi Watney working as the in-game reporter.

“Friday Night Baseball” streams incorporate drone cameras for aerial stadium shots, as well as player mics and field-level mics to further immerse fans in the gameplay and overall atmosphere.

MLB games streaming on Apple TV+ began at the start of the 2022 season.

Any time the Dodgers face the Astros it’s going to be a highly-anticipated series due to both their statuses as perennial contenders, along with the history between the two clubs.

In 2019, it was determined the Astros electronically stole signs throughout the 2017 season and against the Dodgers as they went on to win the World Series over L.A.

Dodgers fans have not let the Astros live that down, greeting them with boos every time they come to L.A., and causing some on-field interactions between players as well.

How to stream Dodgers games on Apple TV+
