Brusdar Graterol was among the nine Los Angeles Dodgers players who went into the offseason eligible for salary arbitration in 2026, but that group had been whittled down come the deadline to tender contracts in late November.
Ben Rortvedt reportedly avoided arbitration with the Dodgers before going on waivers and being claimed by the Cincinnati Reds.
Meanwhile, the Dodgers non-tendered Evan Phillips, who was projected to receive $6.1 million in salary arbitration, and Tony Gonsolin was designated for assignment and Michael Grove got outrighted off the 40-man roster.
Now ahead of the Jan. 8 deadline to reach contract agreements with arbitration-eligible players, Graterol and the Dodgers came to terms on a one-year deal, according to Robert Murray of FanSided:

Anthony Banda, Alex Call and Brock Stewart are the only arbitration-eligible players the Dodgers have not yet come to terms with.
Graterol and the Dodgers previously avoided arbitration last January, when they agreed to a one-year contract worth $2.8 million as well. The right-hander was recovering from right shoulder surgery that ultimately prevented him from pitching at any point in 2025.
MLB Trade Rumors projected Graterol to again receive a $2.8 million salary for 2026 in his final time going through arbitration.
Graterol is looking to pitch for the first time since last appearing in Game 5 of the 2024 World Series. Dodgers general manager Brandon Gomes recently said the 27-year-old is expected to be a full participant come the start of Spring Training in February.
Brusdar Graterol not impacted by Venezuela developments
Although a Venezuelan native, Graterol is not among the Dodgers impacted by the recent United States military actions in Caracas. Gomes said the organization did check in with Edgardo Henriquez and Eduardo Quintero in order to offer any support that may be needed.
