Dodgers 2018 Promotional Schedule: Bobbleheads, ITFDB Alarm Clock, And More

The Los Angeles Dodgers revealed their 2018 promotional and giveaway schedule, with a total of 54 games at Dodger Stadium featuring a promotion or event. In addition, the Dodgers unveiled several mini-plan ticket options for the regular season.

The promotional schedule is highlighted by bobbleheads, a staple of which there will be 10 distributed throughout the year, the return of Friday Night Fireworks, and six games that will feature a collector’s item giveaway. New products include an “It’s Time For Dodger Baseball” alarm clock and piggy bank.

Fans in attendance can obtain the clock on Tuesday, April 24, when the Dodgers host the Miami Marlins. The piggy bank will be distributed Saturday, June 30, when the Colorado Rockies are in town.

The first giveaway item is a magnet schedule that will be given to fans on Opening Day — March 29 against the San Francisco Giants. That will be followed a yet-to-be-unveiled commemorative item for Opening Night (March 30) and the first Friday Night Fireworks of the season.

For April 15, recognized throughout Major League Baseball as Jackie Robinson Day, the Dodgers will again distribute a replica jersey in his honor. The annual Old Timers Day is set for Saturday, May 12, and will be accompanied by a 60th anniversary hat giveaway.

Summer holidays come with a themed giveaway, a a cosmetic bag will be available on Mother’s Day (May 13), player apron on Memorial Day (May 28), money clip on Father’s Day (June 17), Independence Day fireworks (July 3 and 4) and a cooler bag on Labor Day (Sept. 3).

The Dodgers will also offer family-friendly promotions throughout the season by hosting six Sunday kids giveaways, Kids Run the Bases following most Sunday home games and Viva Los Dodgers prior to the last Sunday home game of each month.

Fans are invited to purchase their mini-plans at the ‘Blue Friday’ event on Friday, Nov. 24, from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Top of the Park store at Dodger Stadium. The team is offer a 15 percent discount on merchandise, autographs from Dodgers alumni Tommy Davis, Dennis Powell and Billy Ashley, and holiday photos with the Dodger Bobblehead character.

Friday also marks the grand opening of “60 Years in LA” — a pop-up museum experience that can be visited on the Reserve level in left field.
