Bluesky first launched in 2019 as a competitor to Twitter, now called X, and it has been the fastest growing social media platform with its most significant growth coming over the past three months and now having more than 15 million users.

Similar to Twitter, Bluesky allows users to share short text posts, images and videos, and allows others to like, repost and reply. It also gives users more control over their algorithm, allowing each account to better see the content they want to.
