After taking two of three from the Chicago Cubs, the Los Angeles Dodgers continue their homestand with a three-game series against the Miami Marlins that begins Monday night.
It coincides with the Dodgers’ annual Japanese Heritage Night that is one of their most popular special ticket packs. This year’s event includes a special Dodgers Japanese Heritage Night jersey for fans who purchased a ticket pack. The jersey is not a stadium-wide giveaway.
To further highlight Japanese culture, the Dodgers unveiled four speciality food items that will be offered on Monday night. It’s not yet clear if they will keep some of the new food options beyond Japanese Heritage Night.
Also on Monday, DJ Yuko, The Wagaku Collective and Yoyoka Family Band are scheduled to perform in the center field plaza, and Yoshiki will sing the national anthem. Jun Endo, a Japanese native who plays for Angel City FC, is going to participate in an on-field interview and throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Japanese Heritage Night food specials
Beef teriyaki bowl
The Dodgers are offering a special beef teriyaki bowl served in a themed dish that features the team’s logo and baseball stitching design. The beef teriyaki bowl can be found at the Base Bowls concession stand in right field and center Field, and the Fan Fare location at section four on the reserve level.
Crispy pork fry helmet
Also available is the crispy pork fry helmet, being sold at Hornitos Cantina in the right field plaza, and LA Taqueria stand at section 17 on the reserve level.
Pork tonkatsu bowl
Another option available is the pork tonkatsu rice bowl that can be found at section eight on the field level, and King’s Hawaiian stand at reserve 32.
Wanpaku chicken sandwich
Lastly, the Dodgers are offering a wanpaku chicken sandwich at Flamin Hot Corner (section 47 on field level) and the Fan Fare concession stand at section 31 on reserve.
