The sixth annual Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala at Dodger Stadium is scheduled for Thursday, June 16, and will feature DJ D-Nice putting together a set and an exclusive Jennifer Lopez concert as the headliner for the star-studded event.
Unofficially considered the “The Party For LA,” the gala is presented by the Los Angeles Dodgers ownership group. Proceeds from the event will benefit the LADF and the organization’s various community programs and initiatives aimed at improving education, health care, homelessness and social justice.
“We are thrilled to announce the return of the sixth annual Blue Diamond Gala, the party for Los Angeles, celebrating and raising funds for the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and our positive impact on the Los Angeles community,” Dodgers owner and LADF chairman of the board Mark Walter said in a statement.
“We are truly honored to have an artist of Jennifer Lopez’s caliber performing at this year’s gala.”
While this is the sixth Blue Diamond Gala in the event’s history, it’s the first since 2019 due to challenges and restrictions brought forth by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
“This is an exciting time for our organization, having learned a great deal during the pandemic on how to best serve Angelenos and how to sustain, create capacity and scale our work in communities who need us most,” Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation CEO Nichol Whiteman said.
“The return of the gala is a celebration of heroes, our partners and those we serve, who experienced so many highs and lows the last two years. They are the reason we are bigger than baseball.”

Since its inception, the LADF has invested more than $40 million into the Los Angeles community in the form of direct programs and grants to nonprofit organizations. The foundation’s marquee party has been instrumental in generating financial support and also provides players and members of the organization an opportunity to enjoy private concerts.
Lopez joins Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Earth Wind & Fire, Fleetwood Mac and John Legend as performers for the Blue Diamond Gala.
