Day 3 Of 2022 MLB Draft: Kyle Nevin, Jacob Meador & Complete List Of Dodgers Selections For Rounds 11-20

The Los Angeles Dodgers continued adding new talent to their organization on Day 3 of the 2022 MLB Draft after selecting nine players in rounds 1-10.

The Dodgers took four shortstops, three outfielders and three pitchers with their final 10 picks.

All-in-all, the Dodgers added 19 new players in the 2022 MLB Draft, including two catchers, nine infielders, four outfielders and four pitchers.

Round 11: Kyle Nevin, 345th pick

With the 345th pick in the 2022 MLB Draft, the Dodgers selected outfielder Kyle Nevin out of Baylor University. The son of Los Angeles Angels interim manager Phil Nevin, Kyle hit .304 with 49 RBI in 54 games this season.

Round 12: Jacob Meador, 375th pick

With the 375th pick, the Dodgers selected right-handed pitcher Jacob Meador out of Dallas Baptist. Meador went 7-3 with a 5.24 ERA and collected 91 strikeouts in 68.2 innings pitched this season.

Round 13: Chris Newell, 405th pick

With the 405th pick, the Dodgers selected outfielder Chris Newell out of the University of Virginia. Newell finished his college career with a .278 batting average, 15 doubles, 21 home runs, 86 RBI and 37 stolen bases.

Round 14: Jose Izarra, 435th pick

With the 435th pick, the Dodgers selected shortstop Jose Izarra out of Florida SouthWestern State College. The Venezuela native hit .341/.427/.609 with 55 runs scored, six home runs and 13 stolen bases this season.

Round 15: Nicolas Perez, 465th pick

With the 465th pick, the Dodgers selected shortstop Nicolas Perez out of B You Academy. Originally from Puerto Rico, Perez is committed to Florida State University.

Round 16: Jared Karros, 495th pick

With the 495th pick, the Dodgers selected right-handed pitcher Jared Karros out of UCLA. The son of former Dodgers first baseman Eric Karros, Karros went 4-1 with a 3.51 ERA and held batters to a .204 average while striking out 48 in his college career.

Round 17: Payton Martin, 525th pick

With the 525th pick, the Dodgers selected right-handed pitcher Payton Martin out of West Forsyth High School. The East Carolina University commit is both an infielder and a pitcher.

Round 18: Cameron Decker, 555th pick

With the 555th pick, the Dodgers selected shortstop Cameron Decker out of Evansville North High School. During his senior season, Decker batted .447 with a school-record 12 home runs and 36 RBI, posting a .617 on-base percentage and a 1.684 on-base plus slugging.

Round 19: Chris Alleyne, 585th pick

With the 585th pick, the Dodgers selected outfielder Chris Alleyne out of the University of Maryland. A Golden Spikes semifinalist, Alleyne set a school record by hitting 24 home runs and was named the 2022 Big Ten Player of the Year.

Round 20: Carter McCulley, 615th pick

With the 615th pick, the Dodgers selected shortstop Carter McCulley out of Pensacola Catholic High School. In his senior season, McCulley batted .310 with eight doubles, five home runs and 27 RBI.
