Amid the ongoing wait for the 2020 MLB regular season to begin, the Los Angeles Dodgers have helped fill the void by hosting a weekly Zoom party. The fourth Dodgers Zoom party is set for Monday, May 18, at 6 p.m. PT, and will feature Cody Bellinger, Clayton Kershaw and David Price, among others.

Joe Davis and Alanna Rizzo have served as hosts of the weekly chat, and Justin Turner is on track to keep his streak of appearing on each show alive. Austin Barnes and Alex Wood are also scheduled to appear. Price’s debut comes one week after that of Mookie Betts.

Last week the Dodgers welcomed more than 15,000 unique sign-ins, which represented their most-viewed Zoom party to date. Davis, Rizzo and Turner were joined by Matt Beaty, Betts, Max Muncy, Gavin Lux, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts and former closer Eric Gagné.

Dodgers part owner Billie Jean King and Ken Jeong were the week’s special guests. Jeong’s appearance brought about plenty of laughs as he positioned himself as Turner’s personal doctor and volunteered to sing player walk-up songs during a season that’s likely to be played without fans in attendance.

Bellinger and Kershaw participating in another Dodgers Zoom party should provide their teammates with plenty of fodder. Bellinger’s youth already was a source of comedic relief, and so too was Kershaw’s focus and serious demeanor on his start days.

Fans who would like to watch must RSVP ahead of time, and they can do so on the Dodgers’ official website.
