Cubs’ Pete Crow-Armstrong Criticizes Dodgers Fans

Pete Crow-Armstrong enjoyed a breakout 2025 season with the Chicago Cubs in which he established himself as one of the most exciting players in baseball.

Crow-Armstrong hit .247/.287/.481 with 37 doubles, 31 home runs, 95 RBI and 35 stolen bases in 157 games, earning his first career All-Star selection and winning a Gold Glove Award in center field.

Crow-Armstrong has endeared himself to a Cubs fanbase that appreciates players who leave it all on the field, and the Sherman Oaks, Calif., native has grown fond of the Windy City as well.

Crow-Armstrong offered high praise for Chicago while taking a shot at Los Angeles Dodgers fans in the process, via Wayne Drehs of Chicago Magazine:

“I love Chicago more and more,” Crow-Armstrong says. “It’s just an incredible city. The people are great. They give a shit. They aren’t just baseball fans who go to the game like Dodgers fans to take pictures and whatever. They are paying attention. They care.”

Crow-Armstrong’s criticism of Dodgers fans seemingly came out of nowhere, and the 23-year-old offered no context as to why he made the comments in the first place.

While other athletes have made similar claims about Dodgers fans in the past, it’s surprising that Crow-Armstrong — a Southern California native who attended several games at Dodger Stadium as a child — would push such an unfair narrative.

The Dodgers receive unwavering support from their fans and have led the Majors in attendance each season since 2013, the first full year under Guggenheim Baseball Management.

Dodger Stadium attendance exceeded the 4 million mark last season for the first time in franchise history, and the team’s home-field advantage was especially evident during the playoffs.

When will Pete Crow-Armstrong return to Dodger Stadium?

The Cubs are scheduled to visit the Dodgers for a three-game series at Dodger Stadium from April 24-26.

After his recent comments, it’s safe to say that Crow-Armstrong will not be getting a hometown hero’s welcome from the Dodgers fans in attendance.
