The 10th annual Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Sunset Run is being held Saturday at Dodger Stadium.
In-person and virtual registration options remain available. All proceeds from the event benefit the Dodgers Foundation in aiding their mission to improve education, health care, homelessness and social justice for all Angelenos.
“The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation is celebrating a decade of hosting the Sunset Run, an event that not only brings joy to Dodger fans but also plays a vital role in supporting our mission to address the most critical challenges facing our city,” LADF chief executive officer Nichol Whiteman said in a statement.
“Our collective strength shines through, as every participant’s registration contributes to fulfilling our mission within the communities we are dedicated to serving.”
The 2023 Sunset Run features a 5K, 10K and Kids Fun Run that each can be completed within Dodger Stadium, which provides participants with a chance to soak in the Downtown Los Angeles skyline while navigating the course.
This year’s run includes a cool-down lap, Health + Wellness Expo, appearances by former Dodgers, and live music and DJs playing throughout courses.
There is no age requirement to participate in the 5K and 10K run. Participants must be 12 years or younger on race day to take part in the Kids Fun Run. All participants must sign a waiver prior to participating in the event.
All registered runners receive a 2023 Dodgers tech shirt, finisher’s medal, race bib with chip timing, access to the cool-down lap around the Dodger Stadium warning track, access to the Health + Wellness Expo in the center field plaza, and limited-edition Clayton Kershaw bobblehead.
All participants of the 2022 event received a Mookie Betts bobblehead that fittingly depicted the seven-time All-Star running in the race.
This year, fans can also take part in a Yoga Day session at Dodger Stadium on the eve of the LADF Sunset Run.
