As Opening Day of the 2020 Major League Baseball season remains indefinitely delayed, MLB.TV made every game from 2018 and 2019 available to stream for free. With that, DodgerBlue.com ranked the best Los Angeles Dodgers games from those two seasons.

The list continues with the No. 2 game from 2019, when Cody Bellinger robbed Milwaukee Brewers star Christian Yelich of a home run before hitting a go-ahead blast off Josh Hader to propel the Dodgers to a 6-5 victory.

Clinging on to a 5-2 lead, the Dodgers were six outs away from earning a series win over the Brewers at Miller Park. Leading off the bottom of the eighth inning was Yelich, who had already hit four home runs in the previous three games of the matchup.

Facing Pedro Baez, he crushed a ball to right-center that appeared to be sailing over the wall. Bellinger timed his leap perfectly and robbed Yelich of what would’ve been his MLB-leading 14th home run of the season.

The Brewers ultimately tied the game after Eric Thames hit a two-out, three-run homer off Kenley Jansen. With momentum on their side, Milwaukee deployed Josh Hader in the ninth inning.

The left-hander, one of baseball’s most dominant relievers, made quick work of the Dodgers, striking out Corey Seager and Justin Turner to begin the frame.

That’s when Bellinger stepped up to the plate, fresh off his web gem in the eighth. He drilled a fastball into the right field seats to give L.A. a 6-5 lead, becoming only the second left-handed batter to homer off Hader.

Jansen returned to the mound for the bottom of the ninth, striking out the side and solidifying a Dodgers series win. Bellinger finished the afternoon with three hits in four at-bats, a walk, a run scored and three RBI.
