A total of eight Los Angeles Dodgers prospects were named to the Glendale Desert Dogs roster for the 2025 Arizona Fall League, which is an increase from six last year.
Additionally, Triple-A Oklahoma City bench coach Chris Gutierrez is part of the Desert Dogs coaching staff.

The Arizona Fall League schedule begins Oct. 6, following the conclusion Minor League season, and runs through Nov. 12 with the playoffs beginning the following day. The 19th annual AFL Fall Stars Game is on Nov. 9, and it’s preceded by the AFL Home Run Derby on Nov. 8. Both events are being held at Sloan Park, where the Chicago Cubs make their Spring Training home.
MLB Network is going to televise the Arizona Fall League Fall Stars Game and championship game, and both will be available via stream on MLB.com and the MLB app.
The Arizona Fall League is made up of six teams, including the Desert Dogs, Mesa Solar Sox, Pecoria Javelinas, Salt River Rafters, Scottsdale Scorpions and Surprise Saguaros.
All teams are composed of prospects from five MLB organizations each. The Desert Dogs feature prospects from the Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, Toronto Blue Jays, St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago White Sox.

Dodgers prospects playing in Arizona Fall League
Josue De Paula
De Paula is the highest-ranked Dodgers prospect. His 2025 season has included winning Futures Game All-Star MVP and a recent promotion to Double-A Tulsa.
While with High-A Great Lakes this year, De Paula batted .263/.406/.421 with 16 doubles, 12 home runs and 44 RBI.
Kendall George
George is running wild this year to the tune of a career-best 100 stolen bases. The Dodgers drafted George in the first round in 2023, and he’s currently in his first season with the Loons.
George spent all of 2024 playing for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga.
Logan Wagner
Wagner, a shortstop, is another Dodgers prospect currently with the Loons who was selected to the Desert Dogs roster. This year is his fourth professional season since being drafted by the Dodgers in the sixth round in 2022.
Wagner hasn’t yet shown an ability to consistently hit, but has already set career highs this year with 23 doubles and 15 home runs.
Justin Chambers
Chambers was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers but traded to the Dodgers in January 2024 for Bryan Hudson.
The left-hander has pitched for the Arizona Complex League Dodgers and Quakes this season. Participating in the Arizona Fall League is going to be a homecoming of sorts for the Chandler, Ariz., native.
Jakob Wright
Wright is a left-handed pitcher in the Dodgers’ farm system who features an impressive slider that’s paired with a quality curveball.
Wright was the Dodgers’ fourth-round selection in the 2024 MLB Draft and made his professional debut this year with the Quakes.
Hyun-Seok Jang
Jang was a notable international signing for the Dodgers in August 2023, which they accomplished by completing a trade with the White Sox to acquire more bonus pool money.
The right-hander has a high-velocity fastball but has dealt with some walk issues since beginning his career in the Dodgers’ Minor League system last season.
Alex Makarewich
Makarewich was drafted by the Dodgers in the 13th round in 2023. The right-hander began this season with the Quakes before earning a promotion onto the Loons’ roster.
Makarewich made 10 starts last year but has exclusively pitched out of the bullpen this season.
Payton Martin
Martin was primarily a shortstop in high school but converted to pitching upon being drafted by the Dodgers in the 17th round in 2022.
The right-hander has a fastball that sits in the mid-90s and has topped out at 99 mph. However, it can be susceptible to being slugged if not located.
