AM 570 LA Sports Announces Dodgers 2016 Spring Training Coverage Schedule

With the Los Angeles Dodgers beginning Cactus League play on Thursday with an afternoon affair against the Chicago White Sox at Camelback Ranch, AM 570 LA Sports announced their Spring Training coverage schedule.

The flagship station of the Dodgers radio network will broadcast a total of 16 Cactus League games, including games that are scheduled every weekend in March.

DodgerTalk, hosted by David Vassegh, will air every weeknight during Spring Training, giving fans the latest news and interviews with players and coaches.

Vassegh will also provide special reports and exclusive interviews to the other AM 570 LA Sports shows, including LA Today and the Petros & Money Show.

It was previously announced former Dodgers outfielder Tony Gwynn Jr. was added to the DodgerTalk broadcast team.

Dodgers Spring Training games can also be heard in Spanish on Univision KTNQ 1020 AM. Hall of Famer Jaime Jarrin and his son Jorge will call six Cactus League games, plus two Freeway Series games.

Scully will be on the call for four Spring Training games, including the Freeway Series. Entering his 67th season with the Dodgers, the 88 year old said he is open to attending various road trips in his final season.

Scully is expected to call the Dodgers’ Opening Day game in San Diego on April 4. Regular-season coverage will remain the status quo on AM 570, with Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully, Rick Monday and Charley Steiner sharing responsibilities.

Additionally, pre- and postgame coverage during the regular season will feature Tim Cates, Ned Colletti and SportsNet LA’s Alanna Rizzo.
