One theme that’s become a regularity over the last few seasons is the Los Angeles Dodgers like to enjoy playing the game.

Whether it be Kiké Hernandez’s rally monkey, a bubble machine in the dugout, or former Dodger Hanley Ramirez’s “I see you” hand gesture, on and off the field the club seems to always be having fun.

It usually doesn’t affect the team’s play on the field, as they have won two consecutive NL West division titles and are one game away from a third, but currently the Dodgers are not playing as well as they would like heading into the postseason. After being swept by the last place Colorado Rockies, they now head to San Francisco for a four game series.

Despite the tension of not clinching in Colorado, the Dodgers continue to have fun, this time with some rookie hazing. On the plane heading to San Francisco, they held their annual dress-up day. Orchestrated by veterans, players such as Yimi Garcia, Adam Liberatore, Scott Schebler and Corey Seager donned outfits of wrestling superstars.

They then boarded the plane and made their way down the aisle towards the ring (seats):

Once in San Francisco, SportsNet LA reporter Alanna Rizzo captured a close-up of The Ultimate Warrior (Seager) and Hulk Hogan (Schebler):

The Dodgers have done some rookie hazing in the past as well, most notably in June when rookies Joc Pederson, Liberatore and Mike Bolsinger made a Starbucks run for their teammates while wearing their uniform.

But when the plane lands in San Francisco all the fun and games end as the Dodgers will focus on clinching the division title. That shouldn’t be a problem as aces Zack Greinke and Clayton Kershaw start the first two games of the series.
