With the calendar turning to 2016 last week, the dreaded baseball offseason is nearing its conclusion with players reporting next month.
Los Angeles Dodgers pitchers and catchers are due at Camelback Ranch by Feb. 19, with position players expected to report by Feb. 24. The Dodgers’ first full-squad workout is scheduled the following day.
The Dodgers open Cactus League play against Camelback Ranch co-tenant Chicago White Sox on March 3.
Beginning Monday, Jan. 4, fans can purchase single-game Spring Training tickets prior to them going on sale to the general public on Jan. 11.
Additionally, each ticket purchased between the Jan. 4-10 window will include a $2 discount off the advanced ticket price.
However, this excludes All You Can Eat Bullpen Patio, Eighteen|76 Legends Deck and Luxury Suites. From March 3-20, the Dodgers will play 30 games over 28 days. That includes 17 games at Camelback Ranch; 15 of which are home dates.
Los Angeles has three split squad days: home on March 12 against the Chicago Cubs and on the road against the Seattle Mariners; March 20 at home vs. the San Diego Padres and on the road against the Milwaukee Brewers; March 26 home vs. the White Sox and on the road against Seattle.
Both March 12 split-squad games are at night, both on March 20 are day games, and the Dodgers’ road tilt on March 26 is a daytime start with their home game to be played under the lights.
