With the start of Spring Training just around the corner, the Los Angeles Dodgers are in the process of finalizing their roster for the 2021 season.
In addition to free-agent signings and trades, the Dodgers’ front office is also busy discussing contracts with arbitration-eligible players so they can come to an agreement before the deadline and avoid going to a hearing.
Coming off a season in which they won the World Series, many of the Dodgers’ arbitration-eligible players should be in for nice raises in 2021.
Dylan Floro became one of the first to settle with the organization and avoid arbitration, and according to Robert Murray of FanSided, his 2020 salary of $593,500 will be getting a nice bump:

Floro is coming off a solid season with the Dodgers in which he appeared in 25 games, going 3-0 with a 2.59 ERA, 2.66 FIP and 1.11 WHIP with 19 strikeouts and four walks in 24.1 innings.
He also came up with big outings in the postseason, including striking out Tampa Bay Rays star Randy Arozarena in a crucial spot in the clinching Game 6 of the World Series.
At 30 years of age, Floro figures to be an innings eater for the Dodgers once again in 2021. This is his first year being arbitration-eligible, so he will be under club control through the 2023 season.
Dodgers settle with Knebel
Floro became the second Dodgers player to settle with the organization and avoid arbitration as recently-acquired reliever Corey Knebel recently did the same, agreeing at $5.25 million.
The Dodgers acquired Knebel in a trade with the Milwaukee Brewers earlier in the offseason and the hope is he will be able to get back to his previous elite form. He was set to be non-tendered by the Brewers, but the Dodgers traded for him before he could hit the open market.
Now that Floro and Knebel are locked up, the Dodgers’ remaining arbitration-eligible players include Austin Barnes, Cody Bellinger, Walker Buehler, Corey Seager and Julio Urias.
The Dodgers have until 10 a.m. PT on Friday to exchange salary figures with those players, although they are free to continue negotiating after the deadline as well.
