Los Angeles Dodgers Spanish-language broadcasters and father-son duo Jorge and Jaime Jarrín joined the “All In Challenge” to benefit Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry.

Fans have the option to purchase 10 entries for $10, 25 for $25, 100 for $50 and 200 for $100. The contest includes a maximum of 200 entries per person. The sweepstakes is sponsored by the All In Challenge Foundation, who is partnering with professional athletes, celebrities and other public individuals for coronavirus (COVID-19) relief efforts.

The winner will be eligible to bring along one guest for a visit to Dodger Stadium. The game visit will include dinner with the broadcast team, watching batting practice from the field, meet and greet with select players, and watching the game from the broadcast booth.

The game will be a mutually agreed upon date and set after it’s been determined the 2020 Major League Baseball season can begin.

The Jarrín family is the latest with ties to the Dodgers organization to take action during the pandemic. Justin and Kourtney Turner immediately began partnering with local restaurants to provide meals at The Dream Center for their daily program.

Clayton and Ellen Kershaw are also supporting The Dream Center, and Max Muncy, Chris Taylor and Ross Stripling are among those who have funded food for the local nonprofit organization as well.

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF), team and Farmer John and Frito-Lay provided 4,000 Dodger Dogs for lunch at The Dream Center last week. The LADF additionally is conducting an auction that features autographed and game-worn jerseys in effort to raise money.

As for the Jarríns, the All In Challenge is the latest charitable act from a gracious family. They established the Jaime & Blanca Jarrín Foundation last year, with a focus on supporting students through various programs.

“We wanted to put together this foundation to help others,” Jorge told DodgerBlue.com. “Whether it be partnering up with foundations like the Dodgers’ Foundation, LA84 or other groups, as well as raising money to give scholarships to deserving students — regardless of their background. The only way we’re going to improve conditions in this country is to invest in our future.

“If you think about it, those that are able to graduate, so many of them are graduating with debt up to $100,000 or more in some cases. It makes it very, very difficult. We’re not going to solve all the problems but at least we’re going to make an effort on behalf of my mom and dad, in trying to make this a better place.”

The Jaime & Blanca Jarrín Foundation is led by a 13-member board that includes Jaime as chairman emeritus, and Dodgers Hall of Famer Orel Hershiser.
