The 2027 Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training schedule begins on Friday, Feb. 19, when they square off against the Chicago White Sox at Camelback Ranch. The Dodgers are the designated home team in the game against their co-tenants.
All 30 teams are scheduled to start 2027 Spring Training on the same date.
The Dodgers begin their Spring Training road slate on Sunday, Feb. 21, in Peoria, AZ, against the Seattle Mariners.
The Dodgers conclude their 33-game Spring Training schedule with the Freeway Series against the Los Angeles Angels. It’s being played Sunday, March 21, at Dodger Stadium, and from March 22-23 at Angel Stadium.
The Dodgers will play 17 of their 30 Cactus League games at Camelback Ranch, including 15 as the designated home team and two as the visitors against the White Sox, on Monday, March 8, and Saturday, March 13.
Next year’s Spring Training schedule calls for the Dodgers to be home in four out of the five weekends.
Two weeks later, the Dodgers have a blockbuster weekend at Camelback Ranch, with the team home from Friday, March 5, through Sunday, March 7, against the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers and San Diego Padres.
The Dodgers finish their time in Arizona with games on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20, against the Athletics and Mariners before heading back to Southern California.
In addition, 2027 will see the return of the “Spring Breakout” games featuring top prospects from around the Major Leagues. Details for the “Spring Breakout” contests will be released at a later date.
The club has a total of nine Cactus League weekend contests, providing fans ample opportunity to make the five-hour drive or one-hour flight to the desert.
Camelback Ranch features a state-of-the-art ballpark, six practice fields on the Dodger side, including a replica Dodger Stadium field, fan photo elements commemorating Dodger history, walking trails, an orange grove and a five-acre lake.
Looming MLB lockout
The start of 2027 Spring Training is, of course, dependent on labor negotiations between MLB and the Players Association. With a lockout likely to begin in December, it’s unclear when an agreement will be reached and how long it will take the two sides to reach one.
It would be a surprise if Spring Training is not delayed, and the season could very well see a delayed start, with games potentially being canceled.
