The Los Angeles Dodgers intersected with another beloved institution as they were represented by Freddie Freeman, Kiké Hernández and Miguel Rojas on the 611th episode of “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.”
The sixth season of the celebrity spinoff from the famed “Wheel of Fortune,” affectionately known as “America’s show,” is now streaming exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu.
“Baseball is what we’ve done our whole lives, so it’s kind of second nature to us out there on the field,” Freeman said in a preview clip. “But this is something you don’t do everyday.”
Hosts Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White welcome celebrity contestants to spin television’s most famous wheel for the chance to win up to $1 million for a charity of their choice.
Additional stars appearing in the sixth season of “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” are comedian Hasan Minhaj; cast members from “New Girl,” including actress Hannah Simone, actor Lamorne Morris and actor Jake Johnson; Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward, actor Brian Austin Green, television host Vanessa Lachey, singer and actress Jordin Sparks, former Los Angeles Lakers champion Dwight Howard, and more.
Dodgers Celebrity Wheel of Fortune episode
Throughout the show, Seacrest asked the trio of teammates about their respective careers and accomplishments. Freeman specifically discussed embracing pressure and his walk-off home runs in the World Series over the last two years.
Hernández jokingly recalled not remembering “much” from the Dodgers’ World Series parade, and finally getting to have that moment with fans after winning back-to-back championships because the team was not able to properly celebrate in 2020.
Rojas reflected on his game-tying home run in Game 7 of the 2025 World Series and the “overwhelming” response from fans since that historic moment.
Freddie Freeman
Freeman looked to win “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” for CHOC Foundation, now part of Rady Children’s Health (formerly Children’s Hospital of Orange County). Freeman and his wife Chelsea have long been active in the community, whether Atlanta or Los Angeles, and became further supportive of the Orange County children’s hospital since their son battled Guillain-Barré syndrome in 2024.
Kiké Hernández
Hernández chose to play in honor of the Justin Turner Foundation. It was founded by Justin and Kourtney Turner in 2016 with a mission support homeless veterans, children (and their families) battling life-altering illnesses and diseases, and various youth baseball organizations.
Miguel Rojas
Rojas played for the Miami Animal Rescue, which he called “really important for my family.”
The nonprofit is a volunteer-powered rescue focused on stepping in when animals don’t have a safe or clear next step. They take in animals from abandonment, unsafe situations, and urgent cases, and work to get them into stable, long-term homes.
Dodgers Wheel of Fortune winner
Hernández solved each of the first two hidden word puzzles and won the first round at $26,000. That was ahead of Freeman’s $23,000 and Rojas reaching $10,000.
Rojas made a strong comeback in the second half of the episode to finish with $45,950, which put him into the final bonus round where he fell short. Freeman’s total closed at $36,000 raised and Hernández came in third place at $31,750.
