Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s Hat & Mookie Betts’ Glove Among Dodgers World Series Artifacts On Display At Baseball Hall Of Fame

The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays in a grueling matchup to capture a ninth World Series title in franchise history, passing their rival San Francisco Giants and entering a three-way tie for third all-time in MLB history.

In a closely-contested series that went seven games, the Dodgers were able to walk away with a title thanks to contributions from both unlikely and expected sources.

Miguel Rojas was the catalyst for the Dodgers’ most important inning of the whole season, with a game-tying home run in the top of the ninth and later a defensive play to keep Game 7 tied.

The Dodgers desperately needed every single one of Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s 17.2 innings pitched in the World Series, including the final 2.2 frames he delivered in Game 7 on zero days of rest.

The final two outs of Game 7 came on a double play started by Mookie Betts to clinch the championship, quite the fitting end for his journey making the full-time transition to shortstop in 2025.

These @Dodgers artifacts will be part of baseball history forever at the Hall of Fame:

Yamamoto’s hat and Betts’ glove from Game 7 are among the many items donated to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y., where they will forever remain as artifacts of perhaps the greatest World Series win of all-time.

Other items that will be display include Freddie Freeman’s bat from Game 3, the glove Will Klein used in Game 3 and a base from the 18-inning marathon.

Yamamoto’s historic efforts against the Blue Jays earned him World Series MVP, going 3-0 while allowing just two runs on nine hits with 15 strikeouts and two walks.

Overall this postseason, he had a 1.45 ERA in 37.1 innings with 33 strikeouts and a 0.78 WHIP.

Best moments from Dodgers World Series parade

The Dodgers held their 2025 World Series parade on Monday, which saw another appearance by Ice Cube, an emotional speech from Clayton Kershaw and talks of a three-peat, among other memorable moments.
