Shohei Ohtani Stats From Every Dodgers Bobblehead Game

Shohei Ohtani bobblehead night at Dodger Stadium have turned into something of a spectacle, both because of fans turning out in droves to obtain the giveaway and also the superstar routinely turning in remarkable performances for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

To date, there have been six combined Ohtani bobblehead games on the Dodgers’ promotional schedule for 2024 and 2025. It began with two last season and now four Ohtani bobblehead giveaways planned in 2025.

The Dodgers are 3-1 in Ohtani bobblehead games thus far, and he’s slugged four home runs in those contests.

“It’s every night,” Max Muncy said of an expectation his teammate will hit a homer. “It doesn’t have to be his bobblehead night. It’s kind of just every night.

“He’s incredible. It’s really, really fun to be on the same field as him. Every single day I expect something amazing, and he kind of does it.”

Ohtani is a combined 7-for-16 with four home runs, eight RBI and three stolen bases on his Dodgers bobblehead nights thus far.

In what’s been the only outlier, Ohtani went 0-for-2 with one walk, one strikeout and one stolen base in a 7-2 loss to the Cincinnati Reds.

While the attention was on fans lining up several hours before first pitch to obtain an Ohtani bobblehead, Elly De La Cruz went 4-for-4 and finished with a career-high four stolen bases in the Reds’ win.

The second Ohtani bobblehead of the 2024 season paired him with Decoy and some fans received a limited-edition gold version. The night also saw Decoy memorably ‘throw out’ the first pitch.

Ohtani then went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two stolen bases in the Dodgers’ 6-4 win against the Baltimore Orioles.

The first Ohtani bobblehead fans received during the 2025 season featured him holding the National League MVP Award.

Ohtani once again lived up to expectations as he finished 3-for-5 with one home run an one RBI in a 10-3 win over the Atlanta Braves to help the Dodgers remain undefeated to start the season.

Ohtani’s second bobblehead for this year is the first of two that pay tribute to his 50/50 season. The design specifically highlights Ohtani’s 59 stolen bases from the 2024 season.

He went 2-for-5 with two home runs and six RBI in the Dodgers’ blowout win against the A’s. Ohtani twice came up empty with an opportunity to hit a third home run, which included somewhat of a lighthearted moment as he struck out against A’s catcher Jhonny Pereda, who was asked to pitch the eighth inning.
