The Los Angeles Dodgers announced the 2025 coaching staffs for their Rookie-level Arizona Complex League (ACL) and two Dominican Summer League (DSL) teams.
Juan Apodaca returns for his second season as manager of the ACL Dodgers after leading the team to a 40-20 record en route to defeating the Arizona Diamondbacks’ Rookie-level affiliate in the 2024 Finals.
The title marked the Dodgers’ third at the Arizona Complex League level and first since 2018. The ACL Dodgers ranked in the top five among multiple offensive categories, including leading the league in on-base percentage (.395).
Mendez is back at manager for one of the DSL Dodgers teams after spending the last seven seasons as a coach. This is his fourth stint, having managed the DSL Washington Nationals (2005-07), DSL Diamondbacks (2023) and DSL Dodgers (2016).
Mendez previously was the DSL Manager of the Year in 2007 after leading the Nationals’ Rookie-level affiliate to a 49-15 record and championship.
Leury Bonilla is manager of a Dominican Summer League Dodgers team as well.
Dodgers Minor League affiliates recorded a combined .517 winning percentage (370-346) last season, good for 11th-best in all of baseball.
The Dodgers farm system finished their ninth straight winning season and are a combined 3,770-3,171 (.543) since their last losing campaign in 2013.
