Expanding on an inaugural MLB FoodFest in New York last year, the league is taking the event to Magic Box in Los Angeles, also returning to the Big Apple and making a stop in London.
Dates and tickets for New York and London are not yet set or available, but MLB FoodFest begins its 2019 tour in L.A. on Friday and continues through Sunday (April 26-28). MLB FoodFest is open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Each ticket grants access to Magic Box for a designated two-hour window. Tickets for the MLB FoodFest in L.A. remain available at MLB.com/FoodFest.
A standard ticket is priced at $45 and includes eight samplings, while an MVP ticket is priced at $75 and includes 33 tastes. Water and soft drinks will be provided.
Like last year, all 30 MLB clubs submitted on concession food item to represent them. The menu ranges from classic items to stadium exclusives to original menu items debuting across the league in 2019.
In addition to the 30 food selections, one unique item from each of this season’s host cities are also available. That includes the Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas from London, the Sultanes de Monterrey “Monster Dog” from Monterrey, Mexico, and the Japanese Curry from Tokyo.
Returning items from the inaugural MLB FoodFest include the Seattle Mariners’ “Toasted Grasshoppers” and the Arizona Diamondbacks’ “Churro Dog.” The Los Angeles Dodgers are giving attendees an opportunity to sample “Sisig fries,” which are topped with marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, Sriracha and cilantro crema.
The Los Angeles Dodgers submitted “Sisig Fries,” which have not yet been unveiled at Dodger Stadium.
