The Los Angeles Dodgers revealed their initial promotional lineup for the 2025 season, which includes Ice Cube bobblehead night at Dodger Stadium on June 21.
Ice Cube is an L.A. rap icon, best known for his work with the hip-hop supergroup NWA before transitioning into a very successful solo career.
The bobblehead design features the rapper in the same Dodgers jacket that he wore during a performance at Dodger Stadium before Game 2 of the 2024 World Series.
Ice Cube helped get the crowd rocking by performing two of his biggest hits, “Bow Down” and the iconic “It Was a Good Day.” He also paid tribute to Fernando Valenzuela and Kobe Bryant, a couple of L.A. sports legends with deep ties to the city.

A well-known L.A. sports fan, Ice Cube described the opportunity to perform at Dodger Stadium a “dream come true.”
His mini concert was part of MLB looking to draw more attention to last year’s historic World Series between the Dodgers and New York Yankees. It continued with New York-based rapper Fat Joe performing at Yankee Stadium before Game 3.
