FOCO released a new Shohei Ohtani bobblehead that features the Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star in a homecoming design that is particularly fitting heading into Opening Day of the 2025 season.
Ohtani is dressed in the home white Dodgers uniform and posed celebrating a big home run with a bat flip. The base of the limited-edition bobblehead features the look of a hand-painted Ohtani mural atop a rice paddy field.

The backdrop includes flags of Japan and Ōshū, while the front of the base includes the trademark “LA” Dodgers logo and Ohtani’s full name in English and Japanese.
The newest Ohtani bobblehead is limited to 225 units and won’t be restocked once quantities sell out. FOCO quickly sold a Christmas theme design and just completed a special 72-hour sale of Ohtani holding a mini Dodger Dog bobblehead.
Shohei Ohtani returning to Japan
Ohtani was born on July 5, 1994, in Mizusawa, Oshu, Japan.
He came stateside for the 2018 MLB season and spent six years with the Los Angeles Angels before signing what was a record-setting contract with the Dodgers. Ohtani’s record has since been broken by Juan Soto taking the title of richest contract in professional sports history, but his first season with the Dodgers was nothing short of remarkable.
Ohtani and the Dodgers are beginning the 2025 season with the Tokyo Series. They’ll face the Chicago Cubs for a two-game set from March 19-20, before the teams return stateside to continue with their respective schedules.
Ohtani won’t be able to pitch in Japan but he is expected to be in the Dodgers lineup as their designated hitter.
