Garvey, who just fell short in his bid to win California’s open seat in the U.S. Senate, played 14 seasons with the Dodgers.
His career with the team included eight consecutive All-Star Game selections, a National League MVP Award, four Gold Gloves in a row and a World Series championship.
Garvey’s first Gold Glove Award came in 1974, which is the focal point of the bobblehead design. It features him in a fielding position with a mini Gold Glove Award on top of the base and one serving as the backdrop.
For their “Then and Now” series, FOCO paired Garvey with Ohtani as both celebrate their respective World Series titles with the Dodgers. Garvey won one title with the team, which Ohtani matched in his first season with the Dodgers.
Also for the “Then and Now” series, FOCO combined Cey and Freeman as World Series champions as well. Cey is in a throwing motion while Freeman is in an action pose of swinging the bat.
Freeman helping lead the Dodgers to a championship earned him World Series MVP honors for the first time his career.
