Framber Valdez already has one no-hitter in his career and nearly threw another one in the Houston Astros’ 4-2 win over the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night before Corey Seager broke it up.

The left-hander was one out away from making MLB history when Seager jumped on a first-pitch slider for his 24th home run of the season.

The five-time All-Star’s blast cut the Astros’ lead in half, but Josh Hader ended up getting the save after Valdez was removed from the game.

According to Sarah Langs of MLB.com, Seager became the first player in MLB history to break up a no-hitter with two outs in the ninth inning on multiple occasions.

Seager previously broke up then-San Francisco Giants starter Matt Moore’s no-hit bid against the Dodgers with a single on Aug. 25, 2016.

Including perfect game bids, Valdez became the 19th pitcher in MLB history to lose a no-hitter with two outs in the ninth inning.

Among other accolades Seager has achieved in his career, he previously made MLB history with respective World Series MVP Awards for the Dodgers and Rangers.

In addition to Seager, Hall of Famers Sandy Koufax, Bob Gibson and Reggie Jackson are the only players in MLB history to win a World Series MVP multiple times.

Seager’s home run off Valdez traveled an estimated 411 feet and left his bat at 104.9 mph.

Seager’s hit off Moore — a bloop single to right field — came on the third pitch of his at-bat. It fittingly happened on Corey Seager bobblehead night, which drew a sellout crowd at Dodger Stadium.
