The Los Angeles Dodgers played their first game in Seoul, South Korea, with a matchup against the Korean Baseball Organization’s (KBO) Kiwoom Heroes at the Gocheok Sky Dome and came away with a big victory.

Freddie Freeman put the Dodgers up early with a solo home run in the first inning, and from there the offense continued to add on throughout the game.

Jason Heyward drove in a run in the second inning with a double to bring home Kiké Hernández, and Gavin Lux grounded out to second base to drive in James Outman.

Outman later drove in a run of his own in the third inning on a broken-bat single, allowing Muncy to cross the plate and put L.A. up 4-0.

Joo Hwan Choi drove in the first run of the game for the Heroes in the fourth inning with an RBI single to left field.

The Dodgers broke the score open in the fifth inning with four runs to put themselves up 8-0.

Heyward started the scoring with a sacrifice fly, and after that, the Dodgers had three consecutive RBI singles from Lux, Chris Taylor and Hunter Feduccia.

L.A.’s offense had another big inning in the seventh with five runs scored, which was started by an RBI single from Miguel Rojas.

Austin Barnes drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, Heyward had an RBI double, and Taylor singled in another run to put the Dodgers up 13-1.

Sung Mun Song doubled in the bottom half of the inning to give the Heroes two more runs, and Feduccia singled again the ninth to add the final run in a 14-3 victory.

Michael Grove shines in Dodgers win

While the offense had everything working, so did Michael Grove, who started the game and pitched two perfect innings with four strikeouts.

Ryan Brasier and Evan Phillips both allowed runs, with the former giving up one and the latter allowing two, but the rest of the staff had scoreless appearances.

Alex Vesia, Daniel Hudson and Joe Kelly each worked one inning, while Kyle Hurt threw 2.1.
