After another disappointing performance in the playoffs, the Los Angeles Dodgers head into an important offseason that could bring more change to their roster.

As it currently stands, the team will see 12 players become free agents the morning after the 2023 World Series concludes. Additional players could reach the open market in the coming weeks depending on option and tender decisions.

Meanwhile, the Dodgers’ only players under guaranteed contracts for the 2024 season are Austin Barnes, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Tony Gonsolin, Miguel Rojas and Chris Taylor.

That doesn’t include players with contract options, those eligible for salary arbitration and Minor Leaguers.

Dodgers contracts for 2024

Austin Barnes

Barnes has one year remaining on the two-year, $7 million contract extension he signed during the 2022 season and will earn $3.5 million in 2024. The Dodgers hold a $3.5 million club option with no buyout for 2025.

Mookie Betts

Betts is owed $295 million through the 2032 season and will earn a shade over $30.4 million next year. The seven-time All-Star originally signed a record-breaking 12-year, $365 million contract extension on the eve of Opening Day in 2020.

Freddie Freeman

Freeman has $108 million remaining on the six-year $162 million contract he signed with the Dodgers prior to the 2022 season.

Tony Gonsolin

The Dodgers avoided arbitration with Gonsolin last year by signing him to a two-year, $6.65 million contract extension through the 2024 season. He will earn $5.4 million next year and is eligible for two more arbitration seasons after that.

Gonsolin is not expected to pitch in 2024 due to undergoing Tommy John surgery.

Miguel Rojas

Shortly after their trade with the Miami Marlins, the Dodgers signed Rojas to a one-year, $6 million contract extension through the 2024 season. His deal includes a club option and buyout for 2025.

Chris Taylor

Taylor is owed $30 million through the 2025 season as part of the four-year, $60 million contract extension he signed with the Dodgers in late 2021. Taylor’s contract includes a club option and buyout for 2026.
