The Los Angeles Dodgers announced 21 non-roster invitees to big league camp in Spring Training this year, with top prospects like Gavin Lux, Dustin May, Will Smith and D.J. Peters headlining the group.

For Lux and May, it will be their first experience on the Major League side, while Smith and Peters were both present a year ago. It will also be the first MLB Spring Training for other prospects like Tony Gonsolin and Mitchell White.

In addition to the prospects, there will also be some players who signed Minor League contracts with the organization this offseason who received an invite. Included in that group are Kevin Quackenbush, Josh Thole, Paulo Orlando and Shane Peterson.

Ezequiel Carrera, a former outfielder of the Toronto Blue Jays, appears to have been a Minor League signing as well that was not previously reported. He missed all of 2018 due to injury, but in 2017 hit eight home runs and batted .282/.356/.408 in 131 games.

The start of Spring Training is just around the corner as pitchers and catchers report on Wednesday, Feb. 13, with the first full-squad work out taking place on Feb. 19.

The Dodgers’ Cactus League schedule begins against the Chicago White Sox on Saturday, Feb. 23, and Los Angeles breaks camp after facing the White Sox on March 23. The Dodgers conclude their exhibition schedule by facing the Los Angeles Angeles of Anaheim in a three-game series.

Breakdown of Dodgers non-roster invitees to 2019 Spring Training:

Pitchers: Stetson Allie, Joe Broussard, Daniel Corcino, Tony Gonsolin, Dustin May, Kevin Quackenbush, Josh Smoker, Jesen Therrien, Mitchell White

Catchers: Will Smith, Josh Thole

Infielders: Daniel Castro, Omar Estevez, Gavin Lux, Jake Peter
