The reach of the Los Angeles Dodgers with their fans stands amongst the best in all of Major League Baseball, with celebrities sporting team gear at red carpet events, to Professional Golf Association star Max Homa representing his team at the Waste Management Open in Phoenix, Arizona.
Homa grew up in Valencia, California, and has never been shy about his passion for sports and his favorite teams. In recent years he’s fielded questions about Los Angeles Lakers all-time great Kobe Bryant, and dealt with playful jabs about the Dodgers’ postseasons misfortunes while on the course.
The Waste Management Open is known for its rowdy crowds and incredibly fun atmosphere, especially the 16th hole. It’s become a tradition for fans to turn the 160-yard Par 3 into a rock concert atmosphere.
Homa took this as an opportunity to sport his hometown team by wearing the signature blue Dodgers hat when he stepped onto the 16th.
Homa threw out the first pitch at a Dodgers game during the 2019 season and he’s been one of the major professional sports stars to outspokenly support the team.
GRAMMY Award-winning artists Bad Bunny wore a green Dodgers cap during the 2023 GRAMMYs, with the LA gear being on display as he accepted his award for Best Música Urbana Album.
Miguel Rojas offers Dodgers tickets to Bad Bunny
Back for his second run with the Dodgers, Miguel Rojas is quickly cementing ties with his new club. After taking notice of Bad Bunny in the “LA” cap he took to social media to extend an invite for him to attend a game at Dodger Stadium.
Rojas recently signed a new extension to stay with the Dodgers through 2024 but also includes a $5 million team option for the 2025 season. The 33-year-old was set to become a free agent following the upcoming season.
