Since the Los Angeles Dodgers hired Andrew Friedman to be their president of baseball operations and Farhan Zaidi to be their general manager before the 2015 season, they have won four straight division championships and two National League pennants.
The only goal that the Dodgers have not reached with the new front office at the helm is a World Series championship as they came up just short each of the last two seasons. It appears others are taking notice of their work, however.
According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, the division-rival San Francisco Giants are targeting Zaidi to be their next president of baseball operations:

The Giants are coming off a second straight year in which they didn’t make it to the postseason, finishing in fourth place in the NL West at 73-89. They had the second-worst record in all of baseball in 2017 at 64-98.
Two poor seasons were enough to cost general manager Bobby Evans his job, which is why the Giants are currently in search of a new head man in their front office.
Zaidi and Friedman have taken a lot of criticism in their time with the Dodgers, but they are widely known as one of the best front offices in baseball, acquiring stars like Manny Machado and Yu Darvish at the last two trade deadlines among other big moves.
If Zaidi were to cross over and take the job with the Giants, then the Dodgers presumably would need to find a replacement at general manager, which would add to a long list of offseason duties for Friedman and his staff.
