FOCO Selling Bobblehead Of Don Sutton & Clayton Kershaw For Dodgers All-Time Strikeouts List

FOCO released a commemorative bobblehead set of Los Angeles Dodgers pitching icons Clayton Kershaw and Don Sutton, which was made available for preorder Saturday morning.

The Kershaw and Sutton bobblehead celebrates the Dodgers all-time strikeouts list. The pitchers are on a base with trademark Dodger Stadium video boards and welcome sign accompanying the design.

Sutton is set to a black and white color scheme, while Kershaw is outfitted in a traditional Dodgers look.

Kershaw passed Sutton for first place on the Dodgers all-time strikeouts list on May 1, 2022, against the Detroit Tigers. Kershaw becoming the new Dodgers strikeout king earned him a long standing ovation and the moment was recognized with a video to celebrate the left-hander reaching 2,697 career strikeouts.

“It’s special. I didn’t expect it,” Kershaw said of the reaction. “I understand the Dodgers are a historical franchise and been around a long time, so guys that are on that list that I was fortunate enough to pass, it’s a big deal.

“But I didn’t know fans would know or honestly care that much. So it was special for me. It really was. It was cool to see. I tried to kind of brush it off and keep going, but they wouldn’t let me. It definitely meant a lot, for sure.”

Daron Sutton, Skip Schumaker, A.J. Ellis, Orel Hershiser, Fernando Valenzuela, Jaime Jarrín and Vin Scully each recorded congratulatory messages for Kershaw as well. Ellis, who shares a close relationship with his former Dodgers teammate, joked about never striking out against Kershaw.

Kershaw finished his night at 2,700 strikeouts, becoming just the 26th pitcher in MLB history to reach that benchmark.

Additional Kershaw bobbleheads

FOCO recognized Kershaw passing Sutton with a limited-edition bobblehead. Like that release, the model of Kershaw and Sutton will no longer be available once quantities sell out.

The Dodgers added a Kershaw bobblehead date to their 2022 promotional and giveaway calendar at Dodger Stadium. The first 40,000 ticketed fans in attendance on July 26 will receive a bobblehead while supplies last at the guest’s point of entry.
