The World Series did not get off to the start that the Los Angeles Dodgers had hoped for, dropping the first two games to the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.
The series is not over yet though as it shifts to Los Angeles for Games 3, 4 and 5 (if necessary), where the weather will be much warmer and the confines of Dodger Stadium will be much friendlier for the Dodgers.
Game 3 takes place on Friday night at 5:09 p.m. PT, which is the same start time for all of the other games except Game 5, which would be at 5:15 p.m. PT. As is the case all series, the game will be televised on FOX.
For those that don’t have cable though, there is a viable streaming option in Fubo.Tv, which gives you access to all of the major cable networks. Fubo.Tv is the easiest way to watch all your favorite sports games LIVE and is free to sign up:
Game 3 is essentially a must-win for the Dodgers as only one other team in postseason history has come back from a 3-0 deficit. Ironically, that team was the Red Sox in the 2004 American League Championship Series against the New York Yankees. Current Dodgers manager Dave Roberts played a big part in that comeback for the Red Sox, stealing a key base and scoring the tying run in the ninth inning of Game 4.
The Dodgers send rookie Walker Buehler to the mound on Friday night, and their big left-handed hitters Joc Pederson, Max Muncy, Cody Bellinger and Yasmani Grandal are all back in the lineup against right-hander Rick Porcello.
