MLB and Mastercard have again partnered on a program to aid small business, and the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees curated special prize packs for winners.

Small business owners in Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles and New York City can enter for their locale through Sunday. The contest is open only to individuals who are legal United States residents (including D.C.)., 18 years of age or older, and a principal owner of a U.S.-based small business in one of the select cities at the time of submission.

For the purposes of the Mastercard and MLB contest, a small business is defined as one with annual revenue of $3,000,000 or less during the 2021 calendar year. The business must also be physically located in one of the select U.S. cities and have no more than 50 employees.‎

Finalists from each city will be notified and participate in a scheduled (and recorded) virtual business pitch on a pre-determined date.‎ At the conclusion of all pitches, the finalist in each select city with the highest number of votes from the interviewer(s) will be named the grand prize winners.

The small business owner who wins the grand prize in the Mastercard contest for Los Angeles will receive a $10,000 grant, Mastercard Digital Doors access, personal mentorship session with a Mastercard small business executive, trip for two to the 2022 All-Star Game at Dodger Stadium (including ground transportation, hotel, tickets, and $100 Mastercard prepaid card for food and beverages).

Plus, the grand prize winner will be able to attend a Dodgers home game with three guests, throw out the ceremonial first pitch and receive a pre-game graphic on the video board.

Four first prize winners will also be selected, and each will receive Mastercard Digital Doors access, personal mentorship session with a Mastercard small business executive, and four tickets to a home game this season.
