The Los Angeles Dodgers dropped the Freeway Series opener at Angel Stadium bringing their record to 4-8-4 during Spring Training, but now they travel back to Dodgers Stadium for the first time before the start of the 2022 regular season.

The final two games of the annual exhibition series will be played in L.A. and should be a welcomed sight for the eyes of Dodgers fans before the team heads on the road to start the year.

Julio Urías appears in his third and final tune-up start of Spring Training. Urías was stellar in his last outing against the Cleveland Guardians with three strikeouts over four innings and only allowing two hits. He is 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA with seven punchouts over six innings this spring.

The 25-year-old lefty posted career highs in innings pitching after winning 20 games for the Dodgers in 2021.

The Dodgers need to get their offense rolling with most of their everyday guys in the lineup. They’ve been without Freddie Freeman, who was dealing with a ’24-hour bug’ but is now back in the lineup as the designated hitter and will be ready for Opening Day.

L.A. faces off against José Suarez, who is now confirmed in the L.A. Angels rotation. He gave up one run in four innings with four strikeouts in a win over the Colorado Rockies in his last outing. Suarez has allowed one run in 6-1/3 innings this spring and has looked effective in his short time in MLB since last season.

This game will also feature the DH in a National League ballpark for the first time since 2020 after being included in the newest collective bargaining agreement, and will surely spark more offense across the NL.

Tony Gonsolin is also expected to piggyback Urias this game as he prepares to pitch as the Dodgers fifth starter this season.
