After settling for a tie with the San Diego Padres, the Los Angeles Dodgers attempt to get back in the win column when they take on the Kansas City Royals at Surprise Stadium in second consecutive Spring Training night game.

Andre Jackson makes his second start of Cactus League play and looks for better results. In his 2022 Spring Training debut against the Chicago White Sox, Jackson allowed three hits on three runs across two innings of work.

Jackson saw time with Low-A Rancho Cucamonga, Double-A Tulsa, Triple-A Oklahoma City and the Dodgers last season. In three overall appearances at the MLB level, he went 0-1 with a 2.31 ERA, 4.11 FIP and 1.37 WHIP across 11.2 innings pitched.

Brusdar Graterol, Alex Vesia, Blake Treinen and Evan Phillips are also scheduled to pitch for the Dodgers.

The Royals counter with Brady Singer, who also is taking the mound for his second start of the spring. In his first appearance against the L.A. Angels, he yielded just one hit and one unearned run over two innings pitched.

Singer struggled in his first full Major League season last year, going 5-10 with a 4.91 ERA, 4.04 FIP and 1.55 WHIP across 128.1 innings (27 starts).

Chris Taylor continues to be limited to playing second base as he progresses with a throwing program since undergoing offseason surgery to remove bone chips from his right elbow. Gavin Lux is starting in left field, and Hanser Alberto gets an opportunity to show off his versatility at shortstop.
